Chocolate Fountain
Chocolate Fountains are used for serving chocolate fondues. (see also chocolatefonue.mobi for recipe) Standard fountains are 70-130 cm tall with a crown at the top and stacked tiers over a heated bowl at the bottom. The heat allows the chocolate to flow like a waterfall at which point fruit, marshmallows, cake cubes etc may be dipped. There are both larger commercial chocolate fountains and smaller home models. Rich couverture chocolate is ideally used due to its high cocoa butter content, however dark chocolate (70% cocoa) or chocolate syrup may also be used.
